Horseback Riding
There are many means of transportation, but there is nothing quite like taking a horseback ride while enjoying the beauty of nature. Accompany us to the oldest stables of Antigua and enjoy a scenic and unforgettable ride through the mountains and trails of Antigua Guatemala.
Established in 1989 and founded by English riders, Ravenscroft Stables have several years of experience in breeding and high standard training with horses. The rides take around 2 to 3 hours and lead us through the spectacular area around the town of San Juan del Obispo. Personally guided by the owners, this ride is designed by an experienced rider who can control the horse in all its steps. If you are a less experienced rider, slower pace instruction and suitable horses are also available.
Boots or half-chaps and helmets are provided by us at no additional charge.
The walks usually leave San Juan at 9:00 am, but you are expected at the stable at 8:30 am to have time to test the boots and the other equipment.
Arrival in the afternoon is at 3:00 pm.
