As soon as you leave your hotel room, you will find yourself in the middle of the beautifully renovated neighborhood Casco Viejo, full of little restaurants and shops. If you continue a little more, you will reach the famous fish market, where you can enjoy a tasty, freshly caught fish while taking in the market’s vivid business. Early in the morning you will be picked up by a transfer to take you to the airport. Here you will board a small airplane heading to the bounty islands of San Blas. After a small hour in the air providing you with beautiful views, you will land on the Playon Chico airstrip. Next up is a boat trip to the island of Yundup. Yundup is a true little paradise surrounded by coral reefs, white beaches and a crystal clear sea.
You have the possibility to learn more about the traditions of the Kuna Indians, the native people that inhabit the San Blas islands. After, you will embark on a boat trip to visit the surrounding, uninhabited islands where you can snorkel or just relax on the idyllic beaches.

Today we will take you on an exciting trek into the jungle. In the afternoon we will visit the Ukupseni community, visit a traditional cemetery and continue our hike through the jungle.

Ready for another early rise? Today we take an early-morning boat to go back to the mainland, from where we will fly back to Panama City. You then walk to the auto rental office situated close by to receive your 4WD rental car. We recommend you to drive via the Miraflores locks, as to see the impressive Panama Canal, its ships and the functioning of the locks. Your final destination of today is situated in the mountains only a two-hour drive away from Panama City: the crater valley El Valle de Anton.

El Valle de Anton has a comfortable, cool climate, which makes it a very suitable place for outdoor activities. You have the possibility to explore the area on exciting hikes, such as the hike to the Sleeping Indian. You can also take a relaxed stroll among little rivers and swim under a waterfall.

Today we will continue our route by car. You will drive through the beautiful mountains onto the Pan-American Highway and then take a road along the coast to Las Lajas.

Las Lajas is a lovely destination where you can enjoy the vast, black beaches, the comfortable seawater and the friendly people. You can also join a tour to the local Indians or embark on a trip by boat.

Today you will drive to David and later to Boquete, our final destiny of today. If you like driving and enjoy taking the most beautiful routes, we recommend you to drive to Volcan and then take the small, tranquil road to Boquete. On your way you can make a stop at the animal shelter. This region is known for its comfortable climate, making it a popular spot for retirees from all over the world. Their presence has developed the region into an accessible one, counting with good roads, nice restaurants and numerous possibilities for activities. Your final destination is the cozy town of Boquete.

You stay at a wonderful coffee plantation, so of course the possibility to learn more about the coffee-making process is not to be missed. You can take a tour that will take you all around the plantation and taste their delicious coffee in the end. Furthermore there are a lot of hiking trails you can explore, leading you through the area of the Baru volcano and Boquete.

Today our travels take us to the Caribbean coast. You can return your car at the town of Almirante, from where you will take a water taxi (US$7,50 p.p.) to the main island of the Bocas del Toro, Isla Colon. You will arrive in Bocas Town, where you can enjoy your lunch and do some shopping. We then take a taxi to Playa Bluff (ca. USD 20 per taxi).

As you might have noticed, you have arrived in a little paradise with a spectacular view of the beach and the blue sea, and with the roars of howling monkeys at the background. You can take a long walk along the beautiful beach or just relax and enjoy the Caribbean sea. You can also rent a quad or bike to explore the island, or go on a beautiful snorkel tour. In June and July at night you can witness the arrival of sea turtles at the beach who come to lay their eggs.
Tesoro Escondido (room 5 or similar) / Bocas del Toro, without meals.
It is time to say goodbye to this idyllic little paradise. You will be taken to the airport and take a flight back to Panama City. Here you will be offered a transfer to take you to your hotel.
