Day 1Arrival at the International airport in San Pedro Sula and immediate ground transportation to the town of
Copán.
Day 2 Today we visit the famous Mayan Ruins of Copán. We have guided tour (English-speaking tour guide).
Day 3 We travel from Copán to Santa Rosa, ending in Gracias Lempira.
Day 4 A cultural walking tour through Gracias Lempira and a visit to the nearby hot-springs.
Day 5/6/7/8 Today we start a 3-day hike from San Manuel Colohete to Gracias. Alternative: Several small day hikes n the surrounding Lenca area.
Day 9We depart early from Gracias to La Esperanza. We make a visit to the caves of Taulabe, ending in Comayagua.
Day 10We have a cultural walking tour in Comayagua and then leave for Lake Yojoa.
Day 11Today we have a full-day to enjoy the waterfalls of Pulhapanzak and the eco-archeological park Los Naranjos. .
Day 12In the morning we make a visit to the National Park Cerro Azul Meambar. After, we will leave to Tela.
Day 13Today we visit the botanical garden Lancetilla in Tela and afterwards drive to La Ceiba, where you will have free time
Day 14Today we leave Ceiba early in the morning to go to the airport of San Pedro Sula so we can fly to Guatemala City. From there we take a direct shuttle to Antigua.
Day 15 We spend the day in Antigua. In the morning we have a cultural walking tour. The afternoon is free to enjoy the city. Day 17 In the morning we go to Quetzaltenango (Xela), where we check into our hotel. In the afternoon we take a tour to Fuentes Georginas, where you can take a nice and relaxing steam bath. Day 18 (Sunday) Today we visit the market of Momostenango. In this indigenous village you will be able to find some original Guatemalan clothing, handicrafts, as well as fruits and vegetables. Overnight stay in Xela.
Day 19 In the morning we take the shuttle to go to Panajachel, Lake Atitlán. You will have the afternoon free to explore the town and the beach.
Day 20 We take a boat tour around the lake and stop at several small, indigenous villages around the lake.
Day 21 In the morning we take a shuttle service to Antigua, where you can spend your final night out in Guatemala.
Day 22 From Antigua we take a shuttle to the International airport La Aurora in Guatemala City.
