Day 4 With a shuttle bus we will go from Caño Negro to Rincon de la Vieja. You will have the afternoon free to relax

Day 6-8 Today we will cross the border to Nicaragua. We will go to San Juan del Sur, a city at the Pacific ocean. Here you will have two full days to cool down.
Day 9 By boat we go to the magnificent volcanic island Ometepe. Here you will have the rest of the day off to climb a vol cano, go horse riding, kayaking, swimming or just relax.
Day 10 We have a guided tour today, which will take us around the island.
Day 11/12 We will go back to the mainland, to the town of León. This student city has a magnificent colonial city centre. The following day a guide will join us to show the city.
Day 13 /14 In the morning we have transportation to the town of Granada. Here you will have an extra day to enjoy the qqq beach, do some water sports or explore the town.
Day 15 From Granada we will spend a full day traveling back to Costa Rica, to the beautiful rainforest of Monteverde.
Day 16 In the morning a guide will take us to the rainforest. You will be able to see a huge variety in the flora and fauna. In the afternoon is the opportunity to go horseback riding, hiking or relax.
Day 17 We will go back to San Jose. Here we will have our last night in Costa Rica.
Day 18 Early in the morning we will take a flight to Guatemala City, from there we will go straight to Antigua.
Day 19 Antigua is a colonial city, surrounded by several volcanoes. This morning we will have a guided tour through the town, the afternoon is free to spend.
Day 20 From Antigua we will go to Quetzaltenango (Xela). This afternoon you have some free time to get to know the city.
Day 21 We will visit some indigenous villages around Xela in the morning. In the afternoon we will visit Fuentes Georginas. Here you can relax in the hot springs.
Day 22 Today you have a day off. Optional is a hike to the mysterious volcano lake of Chicabal.
Day 23 In the morning we will take a shuttle towards Lake Atitlán. We will have an overnight in Panajachel.
Day 24 We will take a boat tour around the lake. We will stop at several villages. In the afternoon you will have some time to enjoy the beach.
Day 25 We will take a shuttle back to Antigua for the last night.
Day 26 From Antigua we will go to the International Airport, La Aurora, in Guatemala City. This is where the trip ends.
