Day 1

Welcome in Guatemala! We will bring you in private transfer from Guatemala City (airport) to Antigua, Guatemala. Hotel Posada La Merced

Day 2

Pacaya volcano tour in collective (shared). There are two options available: morning or afternoon tour.

Day 3

Acatenango Volcano

This day you will camp at the volcano to see the first sunrise in Guatemala from the crater of the volcano. In the same way you will have breathtaking views of the Fuego volcano one of the three active volcanoes in Guatemala. This tour includes round trip (shared) from Antigua, guide, 2 meals and camping equipment as well as breakfast.

Day 4

After the breakfast you start to descend the volcano, you will be in Antigua approximately at noon.
In the afternoon (15.00h) you have a collective shuttle from Antigua to Quetzaltenango (Xela), place of the other active volcano in Guatemala called Santiaguito. (near the Santa Maria volcano)

Day 5

Hike to Santiaguito volcano to a lookout (not the crater), it has been active since 1902. You will have the opportunity to see really close an active volcano.
The tour includes round trip transportation, English speaking guide and entrance fee.

08.00 shuttle from you hotel in Quetzaltenango to ANTIGUA, arriving at about 11.30 am
