Day 1 Today you will have a flight from Guatemala City to Sayaxche (Peten) (not included). We will be picked up by a mini bus and after we will take a boat tour, during which we will have lunch, which will bring us to Aguateca.
Day 2 We will take a motorboat to go on the ´rio Salinas’ to visit the Altar de los Sacrificos. After lunch we will go up the river Usumacinta until reaching the river Lacantun, which will lead to a small island where we have dinner and camp.
Day 3 IIn the morning a visit to el Planchon de las Figuras, a rock mostly under water with Mayan figures, which we will be able to study. We will go by boat on the river Usimacinta to reach Yaxchilan, where we have dinner and camp.
Day 4 Today we will have a full day visit to Yaxchilan. This is an island formed by the Usumacinta river. We will sleep at the same sight.
Day 5 After breakfast we will take a boat to go to Bethel, where a bus will wait for us to take us to the airport of Flores. From here you can take a flight back to Guatemala City (not included).
