It starts with a climb of about one and a half hour to the road of La Torre, from a height of 3400m to 3.828m. This is the highest non volcanic point in Central America. From this point the view is precious. From La Torre the road goes down to La Ventosa, this takes 2 hours approximately. The road from La Ventosa to Todos Santos is part of the old Ruta Maya, the antique
connection between Chiapas in Mexico and Zaculeu (Huehuetenango). The road goes down to Tuj Xolek. This is a holy place where Mayas do rituals. In the rainy season there is a small lagoon. This is quite steep with many rocks, so it is quite difficult to go down which makes this hike only recommendable for experienced people. From Tuj Xolek it is one and a half hour to Todos Santos. In total this will take about five hours.
