Day 1
This tour starts at 07:00 am with a ride in a 4x4 wheel drive vehicle right across the Cuchumatanes to Yalombojoch. This is a ride of about 5 hours, so you will arrive at about 12:00 pm or 01:00 pm. From there you will descent into the beautiful valley of the Laguna Brava. After the descent we will reach a river if it is dry season the water is crystal clear and very good to drink. After this we will follow the river towards the Lagoon where we camp out. We have dinner by the camp fire.
Day 2
At 07:00am the return will be made to Yalombojoch. At about 09:00am you will be back in Yalombojoch, from where we depart to Trinidad from where we start the hike to the Cimarrón. The Hoyo Cimarrón is an enormous opening in the earth with an forest deep down inside. To reach the Cimarrón, you have to walk for about 45 minutes through an amazing and bizarre landscape. After this visit the tour will continue to Quen Santo, this is a walk of about 1 hour, again through the same landscape. At about 01:00pm you will return to Trinidad and the tour will continue to Nenton. There you will have lunch. After a visit to this town, the tour will go back to Huehuetenango and will arrive in the evening.
